HOLIDAY BAND CONCERT on Wednesday, December 10th, at Gilbert High School. Students need to be there by 6:40 pm and the concert will start at 7:00 pm. Please be prepared for the concert to last approximately 80 minutes. Band students need to be in attendance for the entire concert – please plan accordingly.
Our GIVING TREE – The band is collecting various items for the Sunshine Acres Orphanage. We are decorating a Christmas Tree in the band room with items such as tooth brushes, socks, hand sanitizer, soaps, etc. Our intention is to bring the tree to the concert for a final evening of collecting. Students can bring in items through December 10th. Thank you, in advance, for your donations.
High Five Friday & GRJHS Band T-SHIRTS for sale for $12 each at our concert on 12/10.
Instrument Upgrade Week(s) through Music and Arts. Music and Arts generously sets up a table of upgraded instruments for students to play during class. It is a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience a more quality instrument that enables them to sound their best. Please let me know if you have any questions about purchasing a new instrument for your child, as it is important to buy QUALITY over anything else.
TAX CREDIT DONATIONS taken at Concert – A table will be set up at our concert for you (or a neighbor or relative) to make a tax credit donation. If you plan on taking advantage of this opportunity to help the band program before 2014 ends, now is the time! Don’t forget your checkbook.
